Today is a perfectly terrible day for planet earth IMHO. George Carlin, who caused many to consider life differently, has passed on to what’s next. A truth seeker and teller, a funny man, a smart ass sometimes…and a smart, smart dude.
He was a cultural icon who remained relevant for decades. Not by jumping on the bandwagon of the latest trends, but by remaining true to himself with a unique point of view. All the while challenging us to call bull when we see it. As a practitioner of the disciplines of marketing and advertising, it is extremely important that we all remember that it is the unique point of view, while telling the truth, that sets us apart.
